Hello, I’m Shannon—a multi-disciplinary designer focusing on editorial, illustrative, and immersive design. Above all, I tell stories through design.
I draw my inspiration from architecture, fine arts, and nature.
I honed my editorial design skills at the Star Tribune, The Daily Orange, and the Syracuse Stand. Whenever I get the chance, I love designing for good causes, such as the various non-profit organizations I worked with through the annual Pixels & Print workshop.
Last year, I was chosen as the 2022 SND Student Designer of the Year.
Currently I am finishing up my final year at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where I have been studying graphic design, architecture, and film studies. Studying architecture alongside design has strengthened my design process and has given me a unique perspective.
